Nina Rios-Doria, PhD, LPC works with athletes, executives, and coaches. Her combination of performance coaching and counseling has given her clients a deeper understanding of themselves when struggling with mental roadblocks in their profession.

She has worked with high school, college, elite, and professional athletes. She's enjoyed working with all levels of athletes on their mental health and performance. Dr. Nina has also worked with sports organizations and was the lead mental health counselor for the NBA referees.

In addition to her work with athletes, she provides performance coaching to leaders and coaches to help them improve and excel in their roles. ​Dr. Nina uses different modalities depending on her client’s needs.

​She is a Certified Executive Professional Coach through UT Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is a member of Applied Association of Sports Psychology (AASP) and a member of the Special Interest Group with AASP: Exercise Psychology and Wellness.

 

In her free time, she continues to compete in triathlons, spartan races, trail running, and running races.  She also enjoys writing inspirational material and producing products for athletes.
